Job Description :

Position Summary: Provides accounting services for the home building facility. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Complies and prepares analysis and reports of accounting activity and data. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reconciliations. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and maintain accuracy of general ledger.
  • Reconcile all accounts within required timeframe.
  • Analyze all financial records and assist management with key financial decisions.
  • Oversee account payable and receivable functions.
  • Maintain records for all plant activities and assist to recruit all required staffs.
  • Provide required training to staff and perform regular audits of payroll and accounts receiving functions.
  • Prepare all required correspondence and maintain all accounting files on computer and ensure accuracy of same.
  • Maintain accuracy for same and perform audit on all annual budget processes.
  • Monitor all petty cash for plant and manage all everyday petty cash disbursements.
  • Identify all appropriate systems and procedures to maintain efficiency of all financial information.
  • Evaluate all plant documents and ensure compliance to federal and state labor laws.
  • Recommend strategies to general manager and maintain knowledge on all current trends and provide training to all accounting and benefit regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years’ experience in an accounting field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with an Accounting accreditation
  • High attention to detail – analytical
  • Ability to switch gears and maintain accurate balances and control of numbers and data
  • Expert at Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in other core Microsoft products

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
  • Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
