Description:
This role will be responsible for all financial activities and will ensure that all programs are abiding by regulations pertaining to financial information.
Duties:

  • Conducts financial analysis and forecasting of revenues and expenditures.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statement package for Comptroller.
  • Manage day-to-day operational needs, including accounts receivable.
  • Continuously review actual spend against budget, as well as direct actions needed.
  • Submit journal entries and prepare financial reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Background and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Business is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in an A/P role is preferred.
  • Basic accounting knowledge, with understanding of invoices, statements of account receivables, payables, and various forms of payment remittances
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds Microsoft Excel – intermediate level – must be able to sort and filter, import and export data, and use formulas and functions such as pivots tables and analyzing large amounts of data.
  • Month End Close and Accruals.
