MW Company, a global manufacturer of aftermarket custom wheels and luxury car parts. we are seeking a Accountant whom will partner with the plant and supports the financial management team.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Understand plant operations and their impact on the financial statements
• Participate in the month-end closing process, including creating journal entries and related supporting schedule
• Monitor financial activity to verify policies and procedures are followed; perform account analysis and reconciliation
• Assist business in understanding variances between actual and standard costs
• Assist in annual budgeting process
• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
• Assist and support other Accounting staff as needed
• Keep management informed of activities and any significant concerns; identify problems and make suggestions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Understand plant operations and their impact on the financial statements
• Participate in the month-end closing process, including creating journal entries and related supporting schedules
• Assist in annual budgeting process
• Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
• Assist and support other Accounting staff as needed
• Keep management informed of activities and any significant concerns; identify problems and make suggestions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Experience with Plex a plus
• Thorough understanding of ERP systems and how transactions are connected
• Excellent understanding of variance analysis, strong analytical analysis and data-driven presentation skill
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
