Accounting & Tax firm is looking for a part time Accountant- QuickBooks- Tax Accounting professional to join their team. The responsibilities for this position include preparing, completing accounting records for clients and entering tax data into tax software and being knowledgeable and up to date with tax laws and changes or able to research tax laws. PTIN number is required and the expense is on the employee.

Responsibilities:

• Download transactions from banks, credit cards, loans, etc.
• Enter data into QB and reconcile all accounts
• Process payroll weekly for two clients
• Update or create checklist for clients so we all know what has been completed
• Must know excel, and word and mail merging
• Excellent with numbers
• Required to take 18 hours of tax education per year

Qualifications:

• 2 Years minimum previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and Quick books
• Fundamental knowledge of GAA
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Tax preparer with 2 years experience
• Ability to learn new tax software

Hours: This job will start at 14 hours, Wednesday and Thursday.

Pay Range: $18- 20/hr to start
