The North Salt Lake City Utah distribution center has an opening for an Accounting Clerk.

Job Description:

To perform general accounting duties, to include vendor invoice account coding, distribution center billings, report updates, and other duties supporting the distribution center accounting function.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years accounting and/or related accounting experience.

• General knowledge of accounting concepts and account reconciliation.

• Accounts Payable and/or general accounting experience.
• Computer proficient; knowledge of Microsoft Systems especially Excel
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to prioritize workload to complete tasks timely and accurately.
• Strong aptitude with numbers, attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills; oral and written.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reconcile vendor statements to ledger or other accounting records.

• Sort, code, obtain approvals and submit payments for posting & payment processing.
• Research vendor/invoice discrepancies.

• Maintain vendor files.

• Support physical inventory activities, as needed.

• Track and reconcile the following income items: pallets, recycling, meat scrap

• Account analysis

• Compile and post reports for management.
• Assist in month end reporting procedures.

• Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records.

• Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
• Timely and accurately completing all assigned duties and documentation from the Accounting Management team.
