Essential Functions:

The successful Accounting Manager candidate will lead and manage the accounting function for the company including; payroll processing, payroll tax preparation and compliance, cost accounting, general ledger maintenance, process improvement and financial reporting to management.

Prior experience as a Accounting Manager is preferred. Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2 or more years’ experience in a lead accountant or management position is preferred in a manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Financial management experience.
• Strong aptitude for math.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Broad knowledge of accounting principles.
