Norfield is looking for an experienced accounting manager. This position reports to the VP of Finance.

Responsibilites include the following:

• Administration of accounting system to generate information essential to management planning and control of company operations.
• Plan and perform a wide variety of duties involving general and cost accounting for the preparation of monthly internal financial statements. Control adherence to budgetary figures by analyzing results.
• Cooperate with department managers to develop annual budgets.
• Act as liason with company's independent auditors on accounting and tax matters.
• Approve credit and collection of past due accounts.
• Monitor daily cash flow activity.
• Maintain fixed asset records.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing cost systems and variance analysis.
• Active involvement with physical inventory.
• Interface with manufacturing, purchasing and engineering in developing product costs.
• Supervisor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Qualifications:

• Broad knowledge of general and cost accounting and financial theory and practice and budgeting.
• 4 year degree in Accounting
• Minimum 4 years experience
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
