This Accounting Specialist role will focus on assiting the Finance Team with G/L, AP, AR, and collection calls. Position located in our Eugene, OR office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains the general ledger.
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
• Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
• Conduct collection calls to obtain payment commitments and negotiating payment terms
• Prepare journal entries monthly
• Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
• Researching and rectifying account discrepancies
• Assisting with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Managing commercial insurances

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Finance or related major preferred.
• Ability to work tight deadlines and manage several projects at any one time.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills (verbally and written).
• Ability to align and collaborate with all levels of organization.
• Able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
• A desire to learn/develop finance career.
• At least 2 years accounting experience.
• Excellent MS Office, especially Excel.
• Positive attitude.
• Resourcefulness.
