Job Description :
Responsibilities
- Support CFO and Controller by providing supervision of operational staff
- Oversees day-to-day accounting controls and processes to ensure efficiency and minimize risk
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports
- Oversee account reconciliation process & daily transactions
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Provide payroll support across multi-state organizations
- Provide support in commission processing
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- Graduate degree or CPA preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Senior Accountant or similar experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of QuickBooks experience is required.
- Must be proficient in Excel with an intermediate skill set.
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
- Must be well organized and able to multitask efficiently.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and have good computer skills.
- Must have the ability to sit at a desk for 70%-90% of the workday in a general office environment.
- $70,000.00-$90,000.00 Annually
- Full-time (40 hours/ week), Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
