Accounting Supervisor

We are a fast-paced Heating and Air Conditioning Wholesale Distributor with an immediate opening for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to become an important part of our friendly team. We provide excellent benefits to the qualified applicant.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Supervising the accounting staff and assisting as needed
• Preparing bank deposits and posting customer payments
• Reviewing A/P invoices and processing the weekly A/P check run
• Setting up new Vendors, Customers and Job account Preliminary Notices and preparing monthly Lien releases
• Proactively identifying and overseeing A/R Collections efforts
• Sales Tax Reporting and online payments
• Monthly Financial Statement preparation and distribution
• Liaison with CPA for annual financial reporting
• Working with other departments to resolve any processing issues

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• This full-time on-site position requires both strong verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Flexibility, working independently, and the ability to multi-task are essential.
• Attention to details, deadlines, and a strong work ethic are a must.
• 10 years minimum of full-cycle accounting and supervision experience
• Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Excel and Word)
• Sage 100 software experience is a big plus
