Job Description :
JOB DUTIES:
- Greets visitors, answers phone lines, and routes correspondence to the appropriate personnel.
- Enters inventory transactions daily.
- Responsible for keeping accurate files, records, and reports, including reports such as monthly operations, wastewater, and others.
- Coordinate shipments to and from outside WHSE and orders dry ice.
- Timely and accurately enters purchase orders into MAPICS/INFOR.
- Responsible for preparing financial and production reports.
- Leads the coordination of Plant Services, including landscaping, snow removal, janitorial services, and other recurring miscellaneous services.
- Facilitates chemical and supply ordering for the office.
- Responsible for preparing and remitting invoices.
- Maintains the general upkeep of the office, including organization, cleanliness, and general office presentation.
- Communicates effectively and tactfully with plant personnel, sales staff, customer service, and other internal and external customers.
- All other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
- Willingness to work with others and work as a team.
- Ability to be cross-trained in all aspects of the job.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in filling out paperwork and entering data.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain on task without being distracted.
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft office suite and other software (Windows, Excel, AS400 Mapics).
- Highly organized and able to plan and anticipate the needs of raw materials
- Ability to remain calm under stress.
- Ability to be punctual and report to shift at specified start times.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Ability to interpret data as it pertains to Quality Assurance specifications.
- Must be able to professionally interact with customers when required to always maintain the best interest of the company.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of company information.
