Job Description :

As a result of continued company growth and additional work, C&L Aviation Services (A C&L Aviation Group company) is looking for multiple experienced Aircraft Painters to work in their Bangor, Maine aircraft paint facility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, masking, and sanding
  • Apply chemical paint stripping solution with a spray gun or brush
  • Remove paint stripper/paints according to specifications as required
  • Placard installation using aircraft tech data
  • Store, handle, use, and dispose of hazardous chemicals in accordance with federal, state, and local environmental protection laws
  • Maintain a clean work environment, tooling, and equipment

Painter with more experience:

  • Stripe, registration, and logo layout and application from drawings and prints
  • Provide guidance and training to more junior members of the department
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Ideal candidates will have 3 years of aircraft painting/paint preparation experience, working under moderate supervision
  • Painters at all levels are expected to perform work at increasing levels of skill and complexity as they gain experience
  • Reliability, communication skills, workmanship, attention to detail, and good judgment are essential traits

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
