Summary

This role is a business facing role that will engage with leaders across the Poultry organization to understand the key business drivers. Partnering with each transformation leader will be critical to the success of this role. Developing a roadmap that leverages the existing assets and driving next generation technology options is important to the transformational efforts. The team includes Analysts, Solution Leads and Project Managers and will work across the Information Technology organization (and managed service partners) to execute projects and support activities.

Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery and Process Optimization
• Support the execution of projects using the Tyson applied project methodology
• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements or user stories
• Perform configuration within a variety of software packages
• Develop user acceptance test plans for given software releases
• Cultivate strong business relationships by demonstrating an understanding of related processes, requirements, systems, and terminology
• Maintain awareness of best practices including processes and technology and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality
• Develop use of existing or research new tools that improve the delivery of solutions to customers
• Support, create, maintain, and ensure quality of systems that support key business processes

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent degree with experience equating to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Experience: 0 - 2 years . Class experience, senior design project or internship may be applicable

Special Skills: Ability to create business process procedure and system design documentation

Computer Skills: Advanced general computer skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of JIRA and HP Quality Center is a plus.

Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats with customers, peers, and management is required. Good interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills: Basic project management skills preferred

Travel: Some travel may be required. The amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements.
