Primary Purpose:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be an integral part of our growing accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will perform job duties that secure our company’s revenue by processing receipts and resolving discrepancies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilizes professional accounting systems (for example: Netsuite/ERP/SAP)
• Posts customer cash, check, and credit card payments
• Research payment discrepancies and irregularities
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks in a timely manner

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 -5 years of work experience in a professional environment
• Experience using a financial software package
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent research capabilities
• MS Office experience

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience working in the construction industry

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
