We’re searching for a skilled, analytical accounts receivable specialist to join our accounting team to help process, track, and record payments on goods sold in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role will require review of account information, correcting discrepancies, and ensure that accounts are properly billed and accounted for.

Job duties

· The accounts receivable specialist will communicate discrepancies to management team and customers, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates

· Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement

· Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared

· Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits (checks, ACH, lockbox), updating system receivables (Amazon, Shopify, Ebay, Walmart)

Required skills and qualifications

· Strong mathematical skills

· Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

· Superb time management and detail orientation

· Proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office applications

· Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting as well as complying with national and local financial requirements.

· High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
