Piedmont Protective Services is currently hiring for an Armed Security Officer to staff a medical facility in Matthews, NC. The duties will include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the safety of life and property while on post
• Writing hourly reports and completing hourly tours of properties
• Following specific post orders according for this site

Benefits and Pay Range:

• Starting $16.00
• Holiday Pay

Shift is:

• Wednesday-Friday 5pm-10pm
• Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm

Total Hours per Week: 39 hours

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Experience with firearms in a personal or professionally setting
• Ability to purchase or already own a firearm
• Must be able to pass a background check/criminal history
• Must have a working smartphone and working phone plan
• Must have active driver’s license
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations
• Must be able to work alone and independently
• Must be able to walk or stand for long period of times
