We currently have a new career opportunity for a full-time Assistant Branch Manager at our New London branch!

The Assistant Branch Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of the branch team members. Ensure team members and branch are meeting established branch goals and service standards including support and promotion of the Purpose, Mission, Vision and Values of Fox and the Member Experience programs. Ensure the branch operates within staffing module guidelines.

The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Branch Manager role include but are not limited to:

• Work with Senior Branch Operations Manager to direct, develop, motivate, coach, and hire branch team members. Assist with performance evaluations and team member performance issues. Maintain a highly motivated, well trained, and cross trained team.
• Monitor branch goals and other performance and operational measures. Work with Senior Branch Operations Manager to ensure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
• Oversee service and staffing levels of branch, including lending team. Make sure the branch has adequate coverage and is responding to member's needs efficiently while ensuring the member's overall experience is of the highest quality.
• Assist in organizing and leading monthly Team meetings to discuss areas needing improvement, changes to procedures, new developments, or services, and to present general information.
• Support and promote the Purpose, Mission, Vision and Values of Fox and the Member Experience Programs.
• Monitor all branch activities to ensure compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.
• Monitor key products/sales within the office to ensure profitable and sound business practices for the credit union, to ensure a high quality of service for members and to ensure that team members are maximizing opportunities to sell products.
• Build strong member relationships by uncovering member needs and suggesting relevant products and services. Ensure branch team is also maintaining this high standard.
• On a monthly basis, coach team members on their service, technical, and cross sale skills.
• Ensure branch facilities are maintained and serviced appropriately.
• Maintain communications with Senior Branch Operations Manager in relation to branch team members, general building maintenance, and members.
• Represent the credit union as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups.
• Confidentially, accurately, effectively process member transactions, perform account maintenance, open new accounts, and assist members with problem resolution as needed.
• Utilize Gallup Resources to improve the engagement of Team Members.

Candidates for this position should possess:

• Prior supervisory experience, cash handling and financial industry experience.
• Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for supervising team and servicing Credit Union members.
• Ability to successfully resolve conflict and problem solve.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Highly organized and detail orientation.

Branch hours: Mon.-Fri. 8am-5:30pm, Sat. 9am-12pm
