Job Description :

Heavy Civil Contractor seeking motivated Project Manager to join our team. Looking for an individual who is able to work independently, take initiative, and manage work efficiently and effectively.

Typical duties/responsibility:

  • Plan, organize, staff and manage key field and office positions throughout project
  • Pre-construction management – subcontracts, estimate review, etc.
  • Ongoing job analysis, monthly job cost review and forecasting
  • Document control (submittals, RFIs, change orders, correspondence, etc.)
  • Develop cost and resource loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) baseline project schedule (BPS), manage BPS, prepare monthly Project Schedule Updates and weekly look-ahead schedules. Time impact analysis, recovery schedules, and change orders as necessary.
  • Represent the company in project meetings, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements
  • Procuring and tracking materials
  • Project billings and quantity tracking
  • Communication with Field Superintendent and project team
  • Job closeout and punch-list
  • Other duties will be required on an as needed basis

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communications, interpersonal, and writing skills required.
  • Candidate must be extremely fluent with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Candidate must have minimum of Five (5) years of experience using Primavera P6 Professional Project Management Version 8.3 or later.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Heavyjob, Viewpoint V6 preferred.
  • Planning and organizational skills are required in order to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Candidate must be a team player focused on contributing to the organization in achieving results
  • BS in Civil Engineering / Construction Management preferred
  • Experience with road construction / site civil work preferred
  • 5+ years of experience required

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
