Estate Four

Novato, CA

Job ID : 374f2f7156306c366c7770392b394f2b45513d3d

Job Description :

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to oversee the development and management of multiple websites for our B2B clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in client management, project management, and working with a development team. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, oversee the work on multiple websites with heavy tech integration, and ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Our small marketing agency, Estate Four, uses the principles of the fourth estate — journalism — to help B2B brands compete in a crowded marketplace where messaging, content creation, and content creators drive marketing across all channels. We enable companies by focusing their messaging and marketing content so they don't waste opportunities with their customers and don't waste money on unnecessary channels.

You must be pleasant to work with, extremely detailed-oriented, and need great written communication skills. Our team has low drama, nice people, and we are always working at being our best. You should enjoy a workplace that has high standards, but also a not-insubstantial amount of sarcasm, playfulness, and in-house happy hours.

We work with a variety of clients, including B2B and B2C; a wide range of verticals, but a focus on heavy industry (construction and Caterpillar equipment); small companies and large national brands. You will be working closely with the founder of Estate Four, as part of a small but growing team.

Location

We ask that you come into the office 2-3 days / week — but you are welcome in every day! This role will include periodic travel to Texas, likely every other month for 2-3 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B clients, maintaining a strong client relationship and providing regular updates on project status.
  • Create and maintain project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Work with a team of designers, developers, and quality assurance specialists to ensure that the websites meet the client's requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Review and approve the work of the development team to ensure it meets the requirements and quality standards.
  • Conduct user testing and analysis of website performance to inform website updates and improve the user experience.
  • Develop project documentation, including project briefs, functional specifications, and testing plans.
  • Monitor industry trends and technology advances to make recommendations on new tools, processes, and best practices to improve our services.
  • Set up tracking and measurement systems to monitor website performance and track key metrics such as user engagement, conversion rates, and revenue generation.
  • Analyze website data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to clients.
  • Monitor search engine optimization (SEO) metrics to ensure websites are ranking well in search results and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to improve website performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop reports and presentations for clients that provide an overview of website performance and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a marketing or digital agency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain a positive relationship with clients and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and quality assurance specialists.
  • Knowledge of website design and development, including UX/UI best practices and web technologies.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other website analytics tools.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and strategies for improving search engine rankings.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools for improving website performance.

ABOUT YOU

You believe listening is more important than speaking. You like learning about all kinds of different subjects, but you aren’t scattered — you can focus in depth on your current interest. You enjoy finding the patterns in things. You believe blue collar work is important and takes as much knowledge and smarts as office work.

ABOUT US

We value: Measured thinking; Passionate beliefs; Thoughtful responses; Honesty in all things. Ensuring the money our clients spend on marketing will be an investment, not just an expense.
