Medisys Management, LLC a Healthcare Management Company located in Melville (Long Island), New York seeks an Internal Auditor who will use his/her skills, knowledge and experience to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations to achieve organizational goals.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Ensure required audits are performed as planned
• Proven ability to perform and control the full audit cycle
• Examine data and look for patterns to identifying shortages and loss
• Conduct Cash Collection and MetroCard Audits at off sites
• Review audit findings and execute recommendations
• Communicate audit findings by preparing final reports
• Excellent written skills including the ability to document processes and prepare audit findings
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
• Work with departments to improve performance.
• Contribute to the overall achievement of the company goals
• Work on any other assignments delegated by Manager

Skills and Knowledge

• Advanced computer skills including MS Office and databases
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
• Ability to conduct interviews and gather information
• Must maintain confidentiality
• A high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Ability to consistently and accurately manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed, clear reports
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments

Education:

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years Internal Audit experience
• Healthcare industry experience preferred
