Our trucking authority company, Authority Express, is looking to hire a full time Compliance Specialist. We are currently serving 100’s of truckers and looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual.

This position handles new client setups, including entering them into our banking system and charging them, translating application data into our digital systems, and processing the initial authority filings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling day to day high-volume calls from customers – taking and fulfilling orders
• Filling out forms and organizing processes to communicate simply and concisely to customers
• Dealing with state and federal agencies in a competent manner
• Assisting with DOT Safety Audit requirements; Driver Qualification Files and Drug and Alcohol Consortium Enrollment
• Assisting with quarterly IFTA and weight distance tax reporting
• Assisting with sales related calls with potential clients
• Understanding DOT and FMCSA regulations and explaining them to clients
• Documenting calls and filings
• Other duties not listed above but deemed necessary to learn

Requirements:

• Preferred experience in the trucking industry
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely. Listen effectively, demonstrate understanding and clarify meaning for others.
• Demonstrate the ability to be a “team member”
• Proficiency working with a computer.
