Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Systems Architect* for our client located in *Montgomery, AL.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Azure Active Directory Specialist who will support the growth of existing tenants and provide best practices and solution-driven results in building an environment that is sound, stable, and organized. This is a unique opportunity to join and contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise-wide multi-tenant solutions and assist in remediating the existing frameworks. Some duties willinclude the following:

  • Engaging stakeholders and providing appropriate guidance in line with industry best practices as it relates to AAD
  • Creating and managing multiple AAD instances under single tenant or multiple tenants as architected
  • Configuring the synchronization of identities and related attributes from on-premises directories and forests to AAD
  • Configuring applications for single sign-on (SSO) in AAD
  • Configuring access to applications via groups defined on-premises or Azure AD
  • Configuring Azure AD self-service features as needed
  • Performing tasks in remediation surrounding Active Directory and AAD infrastructure.
  • Provide technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolve system and identity issues related to environmental changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure platform in relation to subscriptions, configuration, and cloud services.
  • Experience with engaging stakeholders and providing appropriate guidance in line with industry best practices as it relates to AAD
  • Experienced Architect B2B and B2C AAD solutions that cover the scope of digital identity, access management, and enterprise applications
  • Experience creating and managing multiple AAD instances under a single tenant or multiple tenants as architected
  • Experience configuring the synchronization of identities and related attributes from on-premises directories and forests to AAD
  • Experience configuring applications for single sign-on (SSO) in AAD
  • Experience configuring access to applications via groups defined on-premises or Azure AD
  • Experience configuring Azure AD self-service features as needed
  • Experience performing tasks in remediation surrounding Active Directory and AAD infrastructure.
  • Experience providing technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolving system and identity issues related to environmental changes.
  • Familiar with multiple third-party solutions like Core View, Cayosoft, and others solutions which assist in strategy-built solutions for distributing and managing users through a multi-tenant forest environment.
  • Experience configuring RBAC permissions for multi-subscription tenants and associated management groups with Azure
  • Deploy and manage Azure security policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing on-premises Active Directory solutions
  • Experience in managing AAD in Azure tenants
  • Strong understanding of federation and SSO, using SAML and OIDC
  • Strong understanding of access control solutions using groups and roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Forefront Identity Manager, Microsoft Identity Manager, and/or Azure AD Connect
  • Experience with using Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
  • Experience in both AWS and Azure

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field,
or
Relevant equivalent practical experience above the minimum required
