Starry Night Café is looking for an experienced bartender to add to our FOH team as our Bar Manager!

We are looking for someone who is able to multitask. They must possess strong leadership abilities and have extensive knowledge of food and beverage trends. Our ideal candidate will be organized, have amazing customer service skills, pay attention to detail, and remain calm under pressure. Previous experience behind the bar required and experience in a supervisory position ideal. Nights and weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

• Creates seasonal craft cocktail menus
• Maintains drink recipe documentation
• Maintains Inventory
• Selects and purchases liquor and other supplies
• Initiates and maintains vendor relationships
• Maintains budget and monitors costs
• Ensures the bar is well-stocked and clean
• Works alongside Maitre 'd and General Manager to oversee staff
• Will act as MOD when said manager is off duty
• Trains other bar staff
• Knowledge of Aloha POS system would be a plus

We are closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s so two days off a week is guaranteed! Our last seating is at 8:00pm so no super late nights. (Once settled, a four day work week is totally possible!)

Starting pay is $16 an hour plus tips and server tip-out (All FOH tips stay in FOH!)

Other benefits include paid time off, paid sick days, employee discount, staff meal every shift, and full time employees are eligible for up to $5850 in health insurance reimbursement.
