Bartenders Job Desc:

Primary Purpose: Provides bartending services for events including but not limited to: seasonal car shows, museum fundraisers, private parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate meetings and workshops, and car club meets. Sets up bar appropriate to event and completes clean-up and secure storage of alcoholic beverages after the event.

Skill and Experience: Ability to clearly and professionally communicate verbally in a friendly manner with all visitors is required. Incumbent must work well with others. Weekends and some summer holidays will be required. Previous experience interacting with the public is a plus. Incumbent must be able to lift and transport at least 40 pounds and navigate stairs.

Education: Servers must be TIPS certified or trained on determining levels of consumption. They must be familiar with current State Liquor Commission requirements and operate within regulatory compliance at all times. Mixology training is a plus. High school diploma or GED is required. Servers must be at least 18.

Hours: Part time hours with required weekends and evenings, dependent on event schedule.
