Quality Pharmacy is looking to add a Billing Associate to our team. As a Billing Associate you will be a key member of our pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Adjudication of pharmacy claims with third party payers
• Contact third party payers for over-rides on denied claims
• Work with nursing staff to coordinate solutions on rejected claims
• Review Long Term Care facility files and reconcile any changes to resident’s status (responsible party, admission, discharge, prescription coverage)
• Work with residents and families to resolve billing issues
• Prior Authorization processing and review
• Processing Long Term Care facility returns
• Billing and organizing of Emergency Kits

Requirements

• Prior medical/pharmacy billing experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Availability to work 40 Hours per Week, Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:30pm with an every 3rd weekend rotation
