About Us:

We are an award-winning Bookkeeping, QuickBooks training, and Small Business Advisory firm located in East Hartford, CT. We don’t do typical Accounting stuff - taxes aren’t part of our service offering, so we actually love the month of April.

We are a process and technology-driven firm and have created a Team that has become a second family for all of us. We are looking for a couple new team members. Years of Experience can vary. We are looking to add a few more members to our team.

We provide accurate real-time bookkeeping services for our small and medium-sized business owner clients so they can make better business decisions. They rely on us, to make sure they can rely on their books. We travel onsite to client locations or work on clients in our office. This is not a remote position.

Our passion is in all things cloud and tech-related, so all of the changes in our industry excite us rather than scare us. QuickBooks Online, 3rd Party Apps, integrations, ecosystems. We love it all.

Desired Skills and Experience

To succeed in the role, you must be someone who really enjoys doing all of the important bookkeeper tasks our clients trust us with, such as:

Filing State and Federal Remittances, Account Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Month-end close, Reporting, and plain old helping our clients by making sure their books are in great shape at all times.

We also need you to have some specific software experience and be skilled in the tools of the trade: We are a 100% QuickBooks firm and as such require advanced experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.

Just as important, you’ll need excellent communications and client management skills, impeccable attention to detail, extraordinary time management ability, a can-do attitude, and love helping businesses and your other teammates succeed.

Preference will be given to those with experience working in a multi-client environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.62 per hour
