The Role

Loloi Rugs is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Cartersville Ga. The Building Maintenance Tech will maintain the Warehouse/Distribution facility’s electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks in the areas of: Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architectural features, finishes and other components and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair for all systems and equipment. Document the work that is performed.
• Monitor, report and maintain the inventory of parts and supplies for the maintenance and/or repair of the Warehouse/Distribution facility.
• Ensure OSHA compliance in all applicable areas, including PPE requirements, hot work permit, lock out tag out procedures, and maintain all required OSHA records.
• Complete the assigned tasks in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to use computers for work order processing, e-mail communications
• Must possess a high level of accuracy and neatness.
• Basic working knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, fire protection systems and carpentry skills
• Basic working knowledge of electrical distribution principles and practices
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• On occasion, may be required to lift items weighing 75 to 100 pounds

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of related facilities maintenance experience
• Technical Certification(s) preferred
• High School Diploma or GED Required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
