Position Summary/Purpose

The Business Development Representative will be a key member of the Allied Landscape Business Development Team. The role is the “tip of the spear” and plays a vital and internally respected role at Allied Landscape. You will assertively cultivate new business relationships, gather information, collaborate in preparing and presenting solutions and obtain new annual maintenance contracts at a winning pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute predefined sales strategies with defined target markets, client types, and geographic regions
  • Maintain an effective (Get Things Done) daily schedule that incorporates a daily huddle with our BDM, communication management, task/project management, outbound prospecting, in-person/phone/digital cold calling, information collection and storage at a pace and quality to consistently hit and exceed monthly goals
  • Assertively cultivate new customer relationships and new landscape maintenance contracts through cold calling, identifying needs, proactively communicating with internally and externally prospects and presenting solutions
  • Input all prospecting and customer contact activity into company system(s)
  • Supports administration, coordination and application of company-wide employee/employer policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance.

  • Maintain personal, professional, system, and process integrity
  • Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous, we believe in “grinding” and grit
  • Adaptable/Flexible - willing and able to do work that requires frequent shifts in direction
  • Experience with B2B Sales and bilingual (spanish) a plus
  • Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record - REQUIRED

Management / Coaching Overview

To ensure we remain committed to providing our team members opportunity and grow their potential we provide coaching that excludes regular 1:1 meeting and 360 degree annual evaluations following the criteria below:
