About this role
:


The Business Relationship Manager II is responsible for soliciting new deposit relationships and expanding existing relationships of all business types to increase retail deposits, market share, and profitability.


In this role you will:

  • Support the Bank's People First focus and rules of engagement-maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients with exceptional service, always striving to make CNOB A Better Place to Be.
  • Generate and develop new business relationships through networking, building relationships with referral sources, and prospecting.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners. Participate in local business and community organizations as a representative of the Bank.
  • Analyze client needs and make recommendations for appropriate financial products and services to best meet the client's needs.
  • Maintains and deepens existing commercial client relationships through regular outreach and engagement.
  • Partner with retail and other LOB partners to develop and execute strategies to meet production goals.
  • Responsible for the onboarding experience including deposit accounts, cash management, etc.
  • Respond swiftly to client inquiries and own issues through to conclusion.
  • Ensure all activities, transactions, and records are in compliance with operational, security, and control procedures of the Bank, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.

Must haves:

  • Knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations.
  • Expert knowledge of CNOB products, services, and procedures.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship building skills.
  • Proven sales and business development skills
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to carry out instructions, instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to clients, customers, and employees.
  • Proven track record driving sales and achieving goals.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Critical and creative thinking
  • Negotiation skills; diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non standardized situations.
  • Strong People First interest and ability.
  • Minimum five years business banking experience
  • Sales and/or sales leadership experience
