Job Description :

Our office is looking for an eager individual to join our specialty healthcare team! Apply today - MA Certification is not required! Please submit cover letter along with resume to be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparation of patients to see the physician including obtaining vitals, patient history, and medication history
  • Perform screening and prepare patient for exam as directed by the provider
  • Fulfill charting responsibilities and relay appropriate information to patient
  • Manage and update charts to ensure all information is complete and filed appropriately
  • Send and receive patient medical records, request and receive lab and x-ray reports, hospital notes and referral information
  • Complete forms/requisitions as needed
  • Fulfills environmental responsibilities as assigned, which may include setting up instruments and equipment; cleaning exam rooms, instruments, and equipment between patients
  • Order, sort, and store supplies as directed - restock exam rooms

Qualification

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to write using proper grammar and sentence configuration appropriate for medical setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
