JOB SUMMARY
The IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineer is responsible for the creation, testing, implementation, and management of the company’s cloud environment. The position requires a technical person who can support our current cloud framework and assist in the planning and migration of business data and systems to cloud based platforms. This role will work alongside other members of the IT team to develop cloud strategies in support of the department’s goals and the businesses initiatives. Guidance and support of current infrastructure during the continued maturation of the environment will also be expected.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the design, execution, rollout, and evangelism of a cloud operating model at Dolese Bros. Co.

Lead the maintenance, configuration, and deployment of cloud resources to support the business applications and systems

Collaborate with and design cloud solutions in support of business applications and services

Evaluation of current applications and systems to determine viability of migration to cloud services
-
Work with the IT Security team members to ensure cloud environment adheres to security practices at Dolese Bros. Co.

Ensure the quality of architecture and design of cloud systems

Management and support of various technologies including but not limited to MSFT Servers, Active Directory, SCCM, VMWare, Pure Storage, and Azure AD

Work closely with the development team to create automated deployment of cloud resources that scale as needed for the Dolese environment.

Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, project managers, IT Business Analysts, and Developers

Contribute to continuous improvements, practices, and operational efficiencies within the team

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required

At least 5 years of experience with cloud computing services required

Familiarity with C#, PowerShell

Strong communication skills and ability to work alongside team members

Proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans

Ability to learn quickly and creatively solve new problems

Skilled in multitasking and providing quality support to the business community

Ability to work outside normal business hours if necessary
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
