Based in the Mapleton, UT area, this opening for a Controller is a full-time position. You will provide financial information and reporting to assist in the management of operations and the control of assets. Job Description:

• Reviews operating plans/budgets and provides reports and interpretations of fluctuations or variations to budget
• Directs the financial controls of the Company and prepares financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management
• Provides management with daily, weekly & monthly reporting and analysis to measure performance and works on corrective actions when required.
• Supervises a team and coordinates activities with the shared services.
• Oversees month end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations and month end reporting requirements.
• Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll
• Can see and understand the bigger picture and drive efficiencies and simplification into processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• Very strong organizational and business process skills with attention to detail

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, strongly preferred in accounting.
• 8+ years’ experience
• CPA or CMA certification would be favorably viewed.
• Strong MS Excel Skills
• Experience leading and managing teams required.
• Significant knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including GAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to seek resources as required
• Very strong organizational and business process skills with attention to detail

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
