• Controls Engineer
• Days, Mon-Fri (8am-5pm)
• Heavy Engineering
• Up to $130,000 + bonus
• Mooresboro, NC
• Full benefits package

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for site maintenance, improvements, installation and guiding / developing a skilled team of Mechanics and Electricians within a global leader in metals processing.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactive and reactive maintenance including instrument calibration
• Electrical installations and troubleshooting on production machinery
• Developing site maintenance systems
• PLC (Siemens / Rockwell) troubleshooting and programming
• Complete project work as needed by the business
• Continuous improvement projects
• Supporting and training the Electrical maintenance team
• Managing site contractors

Qualification & Experience needed:

• High School diploma or Engineering degree required
• Experience in a Production / Manufacturing environment
• Working with and knowledge of electrical 3-phase wiring, installation and repair of instrumentation and machinery
• Experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair of industrial and or manufacturing machinery (metal forming ideally)
• Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and programming PLC’s (Siemens / Rockwell) is essential

This position is commutable from Shelby, Belwood, Mooresboro, Forest City
