Sutterfield Financial Group, Inc. is looking for an extraordinary Certified Public Accountant or Experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing financial planning firm in Bartlesville, OK.

Important Qualifications Include at least two years of the following experience:

• Experience preparing business tax returns: S-Corps, Partnerships, C-Corps. Also other entities such as CRTs and 990s. (experience in reviewing business tax returns is a plus)
• Experience preparing personal tax returns: Personal returns (including schedule C, E’s & F’s), etc. (experience in reviewing personal tax returns is a plus)
• Experience in bookkeeping for small business clients: Payroll, bill pay, financial preparation/review, etc.
• Experience consulting with clients on their tax & accounting questions/issues: You will serve as the tax accountant for clients and will be responsible for working directly with them on any questions or issues they may have. The ideal candidate would be proactive, responsive and have the ability to build strong relationships.

Because we are truly a full service financial planning firm, you will also be able to learn other areas of our business and may have the opportunity to help out in other divisions to learn the business holistically.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced and Trainable. We need a tax accountant who has tax preparation and bookkeeping experience. Candidates with experience working with Ultra Tax and Quickbooks is a definite bonus. We are looking for someone that is willing to constantly learn and help grow our division.
• Extremely organized. You will be responsible for multiple clients. This role requires someone that is organized and has excellent time management skills and is highly self motivated.
• Deadline driven. Most of your work will be driven by some type of deadline. This role requires someone that enjoys working on deadline based projects and can handle the pressure that can come with meeting those deadlines.
• Enjoys building strong relationships. You will have face to face, phone, and email communication with your clients. We are more than just accountants to our clients- we help advise them on all aspects of their financial lives. This role requires someone that is friendly and enjoys serving others.
• Detail-oriented and Accountable. You will be responsible for providing accurate reporting for our clients. This role requires someone that is diligent in providing quality work and is accountable to our clients and team members.
• Good with Technology. You will need to be proficient with computers and learning new systems and tools. Microsoft Office program knowledge and experience is required. Tax and Accounting software experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
