CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

CAREER OPPORTUNITY

RPM Industries LLC is experiencing significant growth and is looking to add an additional member to the Customer Service Team to strengthen support to the expanding customer base.

Position Summary:

Interact with a multitude of customers to provide accurate product information and pricing. Efficiently process customer orders to meet their delivery requirements. Assist and support outside sales department, manufacturing team, and administrative personnel by providing up-to- date and correct data.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage large volume of customer requests via phone, email, customer portals, or EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right tools/methods
• Follow customer instructions on Purchase Orders
• Follow established procedures for processing orders, printing pick tickets, and creating shipments
• Effectively enter data in order entry system to support sales team and manufacturing departments
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution
• Process credit card payments
• Provide delivery information

• Identify and provide ideas and support implementation of process improvement

Education and Experience

• Customer support experience and knowledge of customer service practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
• Familiarity with order entry and ERP systems and practices
• Associate degree in accounting or business administration
• 2 years- plus experience in customer service and data entry
• Previous experience and skills can be substituted for education
