Customer Service Representatives are our front line relationship with our valued customers. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and out-going person to join our team and help us continue to provide the best service to our customers that Valley Craft is known for. The ideal candidate has a passion for putting the customer first and thrives in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create a positive experience for all VCI customers and potential customers
· Communicate with VCI customers via phone and email
· Answer all customer inquiries including product specifications, pricing and availability
· Handle all product quotes, freight estimates and order entry
· Monitor and troubleshoot order fulfillment
· Data entry and verification
· Provide basic technical support
· Educate customers and assist in finding them the best possible VCI solution for their needs
· Problem solve and generate practical and sensible solutions with your customers and colleagues
· Detailed project work including ongoing customer scheduling, custom order entry, tracking, etc.
· Work as an extension of the sales department with incoming and outgoing sales needs
· Perform customer satisfaction surveys, quote follow up and customer engagement needs via phone/email
· Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of VCI’s products
· Collaborate and work closely with sales and other departments to provide additional support
· Be an active team player throughout VCI in order to achieve wider customer and company objectives
· Maintain positive attitude and open line of communication with customers, co-workers and management
· Provide feedback and continuous improvement opportunities to management and cross-functional teams
· Work tradeshows as needed
· Track daily and weekly metrics within customer management database
· Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or equivalent experience
· 2+ years of successful customer service experience is preferred
· Strong customer service skills
· Excellent listening, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
· Strong technical aptitude - excellent PC and internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
· Experience with ERP/CRM systems, Epicor is a plus but not required
· Organized and detail-oriented
· A consultative solution-based customer service methodology
· Sales support experience is a plus but not required
