What You Will Do:
Assist a dynamic team of cyber risk professionals as they assist clients in improving their overall cyber posture with realistic, actionable, and cost-effective recommendations. Perform cyber security assessments to detect and identify weaknesses in the security posture of an organization's information technology environment (platforms, applications, infrastructure, etc.);
Develop recommendations and action plans to reduce, mitigate, and/or remediate the impact of identified vulnerabilities;
Conduct or review the results of vulnerability scans, evaluating results, and delivering comprehensive reports to communicate findings and impact to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Will Need:
Working knowledge of information security control frameworks including NIST Special Publications, FISMA, CIS CSC, ISO, COBIT, etc.
Analytical and research-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently on assigned analysis tasks under the guidance of a technical lead.
A general familiarity with the following:
  • Security Authorization and Accreditation (SA&A)
  • Privacy Impact Analysis
  • Cybersecurity strategy and governance assessments
  • Cybersecurity risk assessment methodology
  • Cyber best practices and benchmarking
  • Vulnerability management
  • Disaster recovery and contingency planning
  • Compliance testing with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks

What Would Be Nice To Have:

While no certifications are required, the following are a plus: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Penetration Tester (CPT), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
