As part of the infrastructure team, you will be member of the hosting and datacenter team. This team is in charge of all data center of the company. It manages all physical servers, storage and backup systems. It is also responsible of the virtualization platform.

Responsibilities

As an international global team member, your main responsibilities will be :

• Install and configure physical servers (VMware ESXi)
• Install and configure storage and backup system (EMC Avamar and DataDomain)
• Regularly patch devices (firmware, drivers,…)
• Manage backup systems, check that all jobs are running without failure
• Install, configure and manage the virtualization platform (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, SRM)
• Regularly patch servers OS through our global tools. Write related changes and monitor Patching Process
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Contribute to and maintain system standards.
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
• Provide excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work down to desktop support level
• Ability to be globally on-call availability for around 10 weeks per year.

Position Requirements

• Four-year university degree with 4+ years of professional experience, or two-year degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or other equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or equivalent is the minimum education required. Education in the field of computer science is preferred.
• 4+ years' experience managing and configuring VMware environment required.
• Applicable certifications a plus, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX).
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers OS, SQL Server or other operating systems required.
• VMware ESX is required. Experience with vSAN is a plus. Knowledge of VMware NSX is also a plus.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting servers, SAN's, blade chassis, or managing other server hardware is required.
• Experience with Cisco UCS C240 and C220 Server or other physical hardware experience required.
• EMC Avamar, Veeam or other backup technologies required.
• Experience with PowerShell is preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles is required.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws is required.
• Certifications in VCP, VCAP and VCDX are a plus.
