We are looking for a day time cashier that would primarily be for during the work week (Monday - Friday) but there may be an occasional Saturday or Sunday if there is a need for extra help. This would be for a part time role, with just a couple days in the week being requested. However, we are also willing to give additional days and hours if the candidate is interested.

Prior experience in retail, hardware or any related categories is most qualified, but not required. No degree is required. We are willing to train into this role. Cashiers in the store are designated to primarily work in the check out area, where they will be tasked with initial greetings, check out, and assisting customers when able to both in store and over the phone. This is a crucial role where having a positive mentality can make a difference in this business. Candidates must be prepared to engage in customer interaction. Candidates will also be given smaller tasks to do between customer assistance, including keeping up a tidy, clean check out area.

Some other expectations of this role once experienced would be:

-Working directly with customers at checkout, returns and over the phone questions

-Operation of general computer programs

-Maintaining a well stocked and clean checkout area

-Help with surrounding aisle stocking and cleaning

-Assist with checking in deliveries

-Working well with customers and employees as team, providing a positive and creative mentality.
