Design Engineer - Drafter / CAD Responsibilities:

-Create 3D models and 2D drawings for fabrication of sheet metal, welded & machined components & assemblies

-Generate accurate bill of material structures for planning & purchasing

-Enter engineering data for parts, assemblies, materials in ERP system

-Manage engineering change requests, document revisions

-Identify processes and routing to produce parts

-Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, schematics & reports.

-Create detailed quote packages for review

-Develop CAM programs to optimize manufacturing times including cycle & processes

Design Engineer - Drafter / CAD Qualifications:

-Must be able to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment; results-oriented while maintaining attention to detail.

-Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms with all levels within company.

-Ability to work with limited supervision, independently within authority limits.

-Ability to establish priorities and set daily objectives to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive situations when needed.

-Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, schematics, and/or computer-generated reports.

-Associates degree in Engineering or related field (Preferred)

-3D CAD proficiency using SolidWorks 3 years (Preferred)

-Experience in hydraulic or fluid powered design is strong advantage

-CNC programming using SolidWorks CAM

-G-Code programming on Haas Vertical Mills

-Manufacturing, engineering and/or design experience.
