The Design & Preconstruction Project Manager will report to the Director of Preconstruction.

The purpose of this role is to manage the process and coordination needed to create quality budgets and estimates for our clients.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Create and manage conceptual budgets, estimates, schedules, and propsoals
• Lead the team through design, design consultant coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and VE processes effectively and efficiently
• Involvement in defining MEP scope
• Identify areas of concern with construction documents and estimating
• Involvement with Subcontractor and Supplier solicitation
• Review of bid package descriptions for consistency of cost and scope of work
• Involvemnent in bidding process
• Maintain project budget within Owner's expectation

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience in Proejct Manger role in commercial construction
• Understanding and commitment to Downing's Core Values
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and cleints; timely and with respect
• MEP knowledge is a bonus
• Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods
• Ability to comply with all work related deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
