The Digital Content Coordinator, Social Media is responsible for framing, organizing, and executing Virtuoso’s social media content across multiple channels. This position will manage Virtuoso’s brand, editorial, and sponsored social media, and support digital content needs for Virtuoso.com. This is a preferred hybrid role based in one of Virtuoso’s Seattle, Fort Worth, or New York locations, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office. Virtual may be considered.
The position will plan and execute the social media calendar and schedule, writing and building social media posts across all platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. We are looking for a sharp and creative content producer with social editorial experience, an ability to build social communities, obsessive attention to detail, and a love for travel.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manages and executes content calendar for all social media platforms in all markets.

Assists with shaping Virtuoso social media strategy including regular editorial, brand, and sponsored content posts to drive desired results.

Collaborates with colleagues to build exceptional consumer experiences while driving audience growth, social impressions, engagement, and referral traffic to Virtuoso.com.

Manages professional/business social calendar for LinkedIn, supporting Virtuoso’s travel leadership position.

Delivers paid campaigns for Virtuoso brand, products, and partner sponsored content. Tracks trends, reports on ROI, and makes recommendations to achieve strategic goals.

Compiles analytics reports for each channel, tracking traffic, impressions, engagement, and other key performance indicators.

Social listening and community engagement, including social care and responses to consumer inquiries and comments.

Coordinates with colleagues to deliver projects on time, on budget, and at Virtuoso’s expected quality level.

Contributes to content planning and management including CMS updates.

Sources and develops creative for posts and ads, including copy and visual assets.

May take on other special projects as needed, including content development for other digital channels and contributing to additional corporate initiatives.

Acts as point person on social media principles and practices.

Serves as primary contact for the social media agency.
Educational and Skills Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a similar field

2-3 years of experience in a marketing, editorial, or content production role

Solid understanding of major marketing channels, social media platforms, and how to optimize content for each channel and align performance to business goals and objectives.

Demonstrable experience managing social media and writing for the web, with a portfolio of published work.

Creative thinker and avid storyteller who is curious, enterprising, and thrives juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Packages ideas that resonate with target audience and achieve desired results.

Strong project management, time management, organizational, problem-solving, and research skills, with the ability to synthesize input from various sources to make decisions.

Strong idea generation, writing, photo/video editing, and proofreading skills.

Experience using social media listening, social management tools, and content management systems.

Keen sense of design and visual esthetics.

Familiarity with test and learn methodology.

Receptive to feedback and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement.

Able to work both collaboratively in a team and independently.

Travel industry-related experience a plus.
Travel Requirements:

Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events. (1-3 trips per year)

Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.
