About the role*

As Director of Deep Learning Research, you’ll help us define “state-of-the-art” in image and video enhancement. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and guide a team of researchers exploring new deep learning models to solve inverse problems in imaging. You'll also evaluate customer feedback and image data to gauge performance and refine our models based on real-world usage.

About you

• PhD in related field, or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years of experience managing R+D teams, ideally in both business and academic settings
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tensorflow or PyTorch
• Significant prior experience with CNNs and other common computer vision network architectures
• Well-read on major recent research papers in deep learning for image or video enhancement
• Preferred: Photography skill + interest, programming experience
