IHC is seeking a Director of Operations - South. This is a full-time, salaried position that will manage our clinics in the Seymour, Bedford, and Spencer, IN area. The Director of Operations contributes to IHC’s mission and goals of client satisfaction, quality of care, and productivity; oversees and ensures the effective and efficient management of the overall operation of all Indiana Health Centers through cooperative policy development, regular monitoring, and follow-up. Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, IHC’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan; performance objectives, and accreditation standards.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees all operational functions at assigned health center locations.
  • Provides direct supervision to Practice Managers at assigned health center locations including recruiting, interviewing, teaching, coaching, mentoring, performance reviews, and disciplinary action.
  • Works with Practice Managers to maintain adequate staffing, marketing plans, supplies, etc. at assigned health center locations.
  • Communicates effectively and provides appropriate guidance to IHC providers and contractors to ensure consistency throughout the organization and operational efficiency.
  • Serves as liaison for Executive Leadership Team and the Local Management Teams; collaborates with ELT to troubleshoot health center issues related to HR, IT, etc.
  • Meets weekly with the LMT and providers at each site to ensure consistency and compliance with IHC policies and procedures.
  • Leverages corporation-wide use of latest technology; proficient in computer skills, including typing and use of Microsoft Office, eCW, etc.Performance will be evaluated based on meeting specific goals, productivity measures, employee satisfaction scores, and other quality indicators for this position such as: IHC strategic objectives; site strategic objectives; functional capabilities; leadership and/or employee capabilities; IHC commitments, quality measures, and productivity measures.

Qualifications
Practice management experience in a health care setting, preferably with community health center. Five (5) years of management experience required, clinical management preferred. Bachelor’s degree in health-related field required; Master’s degree preferred.Frequent travel to all assigned IHC health center locations throughout the state.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
