What You Will Do:

As an Electrical Assembly Technician you will assemble electrical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area as part of one or several manufacturing processes

What’s in it for You:

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Proficiently utilize a variety of tools such as a handheld drill, among others
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations while maintaining order, safety, and cleanliness
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Perform repetitive electrical assembly such as wires, circuits, breakers, and electrical components
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

What You Need to Have:

• A reputation for taking initiative, setting goals, and getting things done
• The ability to efficiently manage and organize several projects at one time while also being able to switch projects midstream as needed
• Excellent attention to detail with an ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Self-motivated, self-directed, team player spirit, ethical conduct at all times

Education / Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years mechanical or electrical assembly experience required
• 6 months of cabling and wiring experience required
• Basic reading and computer navigation skills, must be able to follow directions

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks
• Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
