Electrical Engineer II

We currently have an opening for an Electrical Engineer with our engineering team at our facility in Camas, WA. This is not a remote position. Looking for an experienced electrical engineer with the skillset to design and support our company portfolio of products and brands.

Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Design electrical systems in support of integrating slitting system along with company portfolio of products and brands.
• Perform in-house systems testing.
• Work with Field Service team to recommend and define a solution to enhance customer experience and avoid system malfunctions.
• Support Maxcess Technical Service in trouble-shooting calls for high complexity level problems.
• Prepare technical reports for use by electrical engineering or management for long and short-range planning; or for use by sales engineering team and/or technical service activities.

Education, Job Qualifications/Experience & Technical Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience; will accept Associates Degree in Engineering with minimum 10 years of related experience
• Familiarity with NEC, EMI, UL508A, and AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
• Experience with electrical and electronic components; electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems; root-cause analysis; electrical panel design.
• Knowledge of analog and discrete industrial controls I/O signals to and from PLCs.
• Experience with induction, stepper & servo motors; speed controls from installation to startup and troubleshooting.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $96,500.00 per year
