Engineering Technician IV

Active Secret Security Clearance Required.

Shall have sufficient written and oral communication skills to provide technical documentation (including schematics) and progress reports to the test engineer.

Shall have the ability to research parts required for equipment, fabrication, modifications and repairs of facility or test equipment.

Shall be capable of operating test equipment using predetermined standard operating procedures.

Shall have the basic knowledge to read prints or schematics involving mechanical, electrical or instrumentation layouts.

and have:

Four (4) years of formal training and one (I) year of experience in a test related skill set,

Or four (4) years of formal training and three (3) years of relevant experience,

Or two (2) years of formal training, plus three (3) year of experience in a test related

skillset,

Or two (2) years of formal training, plus eight (8) years of relevant experience,

Or five (5) years of experience in structural testing,

Or thirteen (13) years of relevant experience.

Shall have experience planning and executing technical assignments.

Shall have the ability to perform complex tasks with detailed directions and no direct supervision.
