Job Description :

Summary

Embedded software Engineer focusing on development, debug, maintain and the support of real-time embedded software and application for the Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) including DCDC, DCAC, ACDC.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Be part of a team to define, design, implement and test Power conversion system up to 3kW.

2. Evaluate, Plan, Implement and Test the SMPS controller software.

3. Work with HW and other relevant functions in Technology organization to evaluate and select optimal chipsets and key components to build competitive SMPS platforms.

4. Investigate the requirements on power converter systems and competitive landscape, benchmark the competitive solutions from the major competitors then generate the competitive SMPS solutions.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree, major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic and Information Engineering or related fields; Good understanding of common power converter topology and principle of operations.

2. At least 3 years of experience in real-time power converter embedded software development.

3. Experience in programing microcontroller using complex PWM scheme.

4. Skillful in software/firmware debugging and familiar with a major debugging tools and systems, such as TI C2000 or ARM architecture.

5. Working knowledge on the critical issues in the typical real-time embedded systems, boot sequence and interrupt handling etc.

6. Strong analytical and practical aptitude with the ability of fast prototyping and proposing a solution.

7. Understand system level development process and have the capability to transit the customer’s needs or high-level concept into design requirements.

9. Be a team player. Demonstrate logical thinking and efficient communication skills, can use English as the work language.

10. Able to thrive in a multi-discipline, fast paced dynamic and global collaborative environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
