POSITION SUMMARY
Engineering Document Control provides administrative support for the operations department including change management control associated with Bill of Materials, Engineering Change Control, and documentation revisions. Will directly with all levels within engineering to ensure accurate production processes and high level of accuracy and control of engineering related changes.

Essential Functions:
· Collects and maintains files of the latest revision to define product configuration
· Timely distributes of latest revision documentation to appropriate users and ensures obsolete documentation is removed from distribution
· Performs data entry with ERP system as required (including but not limited to new item numbers, bill or materials, audits, and engineering change request)
· Creates, maintains, and validates Bill of Materials (BOM’s)
· Supports the coordination and process of Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s)
· Supports all release and change activity for new and existing products, plus all other controlled documents (i.e. line drawings, specifications)
· Assists with inventory and cycle counts Provides technical assistance and information regarding Quality activities and deliverables to the Manufacturing Engineer/s leading the manufacturing launch activities.
· Obtains approval of Engineering changes and deviations
· Coordinates communication between different departments within a company to facilitate projects and operations
· Supports initial production validation runs, documenting process while collecting and sharing feedback
· Conducts cycle time analysis of process changes
· Audits and validates existing processes

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma required. Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of related experience within discrete manufacturing environment
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required. Prior ERP and CAD experience
