We’re seeking an Engineering Manager to make meaningful contributions to our infrastructure design and construction program. We serve our customers with a water distribution system that includes 18 wells, 32 reservoirs and more than 860 miles of pipeline. Our infrastructure program addresses the ever-growing need for new facilities and refurbishing existing facilities by designing and constructing new and replacement infrastructure. This role will perform project management, engineering design, hydraulic modelling, and prepare project design reports.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $150,000-$205,000
• 401(k)-Company matches 100% of the first 6% of your eligible compensation contributed to the Plan

Purpose of the Job

Is directly responsible for administration of engineering, drafting, surveying and new business functions and the assigned staff. Responsible for ensuring that all related Company business is carried out in accordance with the Corporate goals and philosophies. Responsible for assisting in analyzing, planning, designing and operating the water facilities in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or higher

Certifications

• PE (Professional Engineer) required
• Valid Driver's License

Work Experience

8 years of progressive engineering experience in the water related industry including routine engineering responsibilities. 5+ years of experience directly supervising an engineering technical staff as well as project management capabilities of public works projects. Knowledge of public works bidding procedures. 3+ years of experience preparing departmental operating budgets and capital improvement budgets.
